Jury Duty Hardship Pregnancy

Dear {jury commissioner}:

I would like to request that my jury service set for {date} be postponed for six months because I am late in the third trimester of pregnancy.

I am due to give birth very soon, around {date}. In addition, appearing for jury selection or sitting on a jury would pose a hardship due to {bed rest/medical issue/frequent restroom trips/hemorrhoids/etc.}.

In six months’ time I expect to be in good health, with adequate child care, and would be happy to serve on a jury.
